That would be cool but I do not think that it will never happen. Sadly.
I guess I meant you.
I agree with you Northern CA would be cool. San Francisco with its great backdrop would be a great setting for Formula 1. It will never happen of course but one can always dream hay. Can't I.

Next years American grand prix is off
It aint over yet. This is just a few business men playing power politics and posturing, with the grand master Bernie Ecclestone right at the centre as usual. I still think there's plenty of life in this story yet.

yep, been a disaster. Why would you begin to built something as big as this without a contract in place. Now there is a huge patch of land cleared and worked on scarring East Austin. Not only that hundreds of people suddenly found out they had no employment just a week before Thanksgiving and then Christmas. The news media say not all is lost as the actual calendar hasn't been set for 2012 but will be in the 1st week of Dec. Complete farce!

As I understand it Bernie wants to see evidence from a bank that they have the money to pay him and won't confirm Austin's place on the calendar until it's done.
These things tend not to be straightforward. Usually they get sorted out, Donington is the big reminder that it doesn't always.

I think that the USGP in Texas is just like Donington and will not happen and I was really looking forward to a USGP next year but oh well.
