Default Foreign Currency Fee Litigation Settlement Fund

Received five checks in the mail today, one for each of us... including one for my mother in law who died in 2009. Each is for $18.04. They are for this class action suit that was discussed here back in 2007.

If you got a check, what will YOU do with the money? To me it is like found money since I stopped waiting for it a few years ago....

I don't know about you, but my $18.04 didn't go very far - not even a tank of gas!

I got over $150. I was expecting about 12 cents, so this is pretty good in comparison. (Of course, it must be a pittance in comparison to what the lawyers are making...)

Got mine about 3 weeks before Christmas, I had some errands to run so I put the check in the ATM on the way to post office. The package I mailed to myr sister cost me $18, in one hand and out the other!

So there you go! The lawyers who dealt with this case will also have been able to afford to send out their Christmas gifts too, so a win-win situation!!
