I am guessing it is going to be heavy with Hispanic immigrants, so be prepared to learn Spanish.

I know a guy who plays in a league up here in LA, they play on a sunday, so the drive up shouldn't be too bad. He's early 30s, so I imagine they'd let you in :) Let me know if its not too far and you want more details!

I do as well Gezzer if you want the info but he said the English teams are a shambles and just end kicking the shit out of nippy Mexicans and having ciggies at half time - ask Tomelina on this forum, he plays, but knowing him its probably 40 somethings pissing it up on the beach - he is Bluenose after all

It's worse than that, the average age I play with is probably 45! I just play in a pick up game that was started by a bunch of friends 20 years ago. I have been playing with them about 7 years and it depends who shows up, people come and go, we have a new crop of Africans playing with us, there are people from the UK, Chile, Mexico, Peru, Argentina etc that I play with. I used to play in a proper league in Griffiths Park but my whole weekend was taken up playing.
It will be heavily Hispanic but I don't really know where to point him. There is a British pub in Santa Ana, I don't know where you are, but someone in there should know;

..............If not I would just proceed to get pissed :D

I don't have an exact answer, but I have met some guys who play in pub teams in Orange County. I think it's the Irish and British pubs that have teams they sponsor, and it's just fun stuff. I think the Shamrock on PCH in Newport might have a team or you can call and ask those guys that own it if they know, they're pretty nice.
