I liked the bit about "going back to England to renew her visa" after 3 months in the US. She is obviously there on a visa waiver, and has done her visa homework as well as knowing what to say and what not to say at the security checkpoint. What a plonker. It was a dumbfool thing to say but since when does saying something stupid land you in jail? airport officials taking that joke (stupid though it was) seriously is scary- jeeze as if a real terrorist would say something like that. A severe warning should have been sufficient but to chuck her in jail and charge with a crime that could carry a 15 year sentence??? Give me a break! This country is completely paranoid.
