Default Food for Thought

According to Restaurant Magazine's just released survey of the 50 Best Restaurants in the World, 11 of them are located in Britain - 7 in London alone! It's just one of hundreds of terrific reasons to visit Britain now. Some of the others?

Because it's beautiful and it's summer time? Here's the tour we are taking next year:

To visit Du Maurier and Pilcher (Rosamunde) country. Land's End, St. Ives and Penzance among others....

Ranjini, you better keep an eye out for those wanted posters at the airport UK. They may have you posted there.

Reg. Frank R. Enjoy the trip.

Lol Right now it's almost wishful thinking. But I have started a "Visit Cornwall" savings account. Already $ 1500 in it . That's my contribution. Ken isn't sure if he wants to be "traipsing around the English countryside". Especially, after I showed him pics of those rather twee cottages in the Cotswolds. Heck, but I'm going ....

For those who want to see the restaurants that made the list, check this page-

In my opinion, the London entries are pretty predictable. Not a criticism but the names do crop up often in best of lists very often.

Looks like the US has 7 in the top 50, including the number 1 restaurant in the world, The French Laundry?!!! That's a weird name.
