Florida Keys
Hi,
In mid March we are flying into Miami and want to spend the first three days just chilling in the Keys. Not sure I want to drive all the way to Key West so am looking for recommendations on a good place to stay. I went there thirty years ago so have no memory of where I liked. I just recall driving down the highway looking at clear blue water and white beaches. Maybe time has tinted the lenses a bit, so that's why I'm asking. All we want is a to be able to stay in a nice resort, with a great beach and watch the sea. Then be able to enjoy a comfortable hotel/guest house.
Thanks
Andy

Re: Florida Keys
We stayed on Duck Key (mile marker 62 I think) for 4 days last summer. It was a hotel resort, suited us for a few days of relaxation.

There are beautiful beaches at Bahia Honda State Park, we were camping on Scout Key, so I don't know about resort stuff. Good eating at Castaway in Marathon and cute little Key Deer on Big Pine Key.

Try Anne's Beach around mile marker 73. It has parking, bathrooms and picnic areas.
