Florida
Hi Everyone, Hope your all well. I am a regular traveller to Florida and usually spend around 6 weeks a year there over 2 breaks. I am now looking into living and working in the Florida area. I totally understand that it is nothing like holidaying there but I love the culture and everything about the area.
I know there will be lots and lots of posts like this but i would like some current news if anything.
Does anyone have experience of this and finding work? I am currently working as a Registered Manager in an Adult Learning Disability Service.
Thanks in advance
Stephen

Re: Florida
First and foremost, what type of visa do you qualify for to allow you to come to the US to live and work.
Suggest you look at the wiki's Pulaski's Way before going further.

and put on your elephant hide because you are in for a lot of posts that can peel the skin right off of a normal person. This type of post is going to be a free-for-all soon.

Re: Florida
If you have STEM type experience/qualifications, you have a better chance of getting a job sponsor, or a company transfer.
So other than work, buckets of cash is the way to go if you don't marry a local.
Anyway, welcome to BE and good luck!
