Default Flight to LHR (or Dublin) anyone?

I had booked a weekend flight to LHR via dublin from JFK with aer lingus which I can no longer make. You could also go to Dublin and not bother with the dublin to LHR portion if you want..

Aer lingus told me that for a $90 fee they can change the name on the ticket. I paid over $400 for the ticket as was wondering if anyone wants it for say $250 all in?

The itinerary is as follows:
AER LINGUS EI 104 R/ECONOMY CLASS CONFIRMED
DEP NEW YORK/JOHN F KENNEDY FRI 9MAR07 6.00PM
JFK -TERMINAL 4 - TERMINAL 4 INTERNATIONAL
ARR DUBLIN SAT 10MAR07 5.30AM
Seat Number/s:19A

AER LINGUS EI 152 S/ECONOMY CLASS CONFIRMED
DEP DUBLIN SAT 10MAR07 6.40AM
ARR LONDON/HEATHROW SAT 10MAR07 8.05AM
LHR -TERMINAL 1 - TERMINAL 1

AER LINGUS EI 151 S/ECONOMY CLASS CONFIRMED
DEP LONDON/HEATHROW SUN 11MAR07 7.50AM
LHR -TERMINAL 1 - TERMINAL 1
ARR DUBLIN SUN 11MAR07 9.00AM

AER LINGUS EI 105 R/ECONOMY CLASS CONFIRMED
DEP DUBLIN SUN 11MAR07 10.30AM
ARR NEW YORK/JOHN F KENNEDY SUN 11MAR07 2.00PM
JFK -TERMINAL 4 - TERMINAL 4 INTERNATIONAL
Seat Number/s:45A

PM me if interested.

Cheers, MH

BE VERY CAREFUL. SOme airlines will cancel your return portion if you do not complete the outbound flights. Therefore if you stop in Dublin and don't go onto london, they will cancel your return flight.

Check the Ts&Cs

Already checked, and using the JFK to dublin portion alone is OK.

I'll work out a deal with you if you can change the tickets for the following dates and times. I need to fly on the specific Aer Lingus flights shown below.

Thursday Apr 26 JFK 5:40 PM
DUB 5:10 AM
Aer Lingus 104 COACH

Monday Apr 30 DUB 5:00 PM
JFK 7:30 PM
Aer Lingus 109 COACH

I don't need the London portion of your itinerary. Thanks

Be really careful with this.

I have been a travel agent here for the past 12 years and international ticketing is very complicated. I have never known any international carrier to allow name-changes. If you have been given this information, make sure you get names, agent ID's, times and dates you spoke to them and their location when speaking to the airline.
The rules on an airline ticket need deciphering by a lawyer they are so complex.
My advise is to double check everything you are told.

No date changes are possible i'm afraid.

All the rules concerning the name change are on the aer lingus website.

I am sorry, I hope I didn't sound patronising, but I do know how complex the rules can be. I am sure you verified everything.

I negotiated a deal similar to this in the past (about a year ago) with an Aer Lingus flight and it all worked out. The person that sold me the ticket was able to get both a date and name change. I would definitely recheck if I were you. Aer Lingus may be a very unique airline in this regard.
