Fresh Market corner Dale Mabry and Fletcher Avenues stocks Lyle's G.Syrup (or did last time I was in there a while back) for any Tampa folk. You can't compare G.S. with maple syrup.
Made some fudge for the kids the other day, the kind we're used to, and unfortunately had to substitute G.S. for M.S.

Just to let you all know, the 2nd batch was spot on....very happy chapie.
Got a tiny bit heavy handed with the almond essence, but never the less it was pretty good.
Took them into work, there were all gone by 10.00 am so I guess the septics like them as well
