could be a major hassle...even if you could do the interview at an embassy/consulate...hmmm...wonder how expensive that'll make them too...

I searched this board, but I do not frequent the Lounge.

When I renewed my passport lasy year I remember being asked to do an on line survey that included suggestions that you would need to go to the Embassy to renew in future.

My husband and I were discussing this last night. Would we have to go to DC for interview...'cos that's where we have to renew our PP's? Or could we go to a local Consulate office?

Thinking I might go for an early renew if they're gonna be pissing about. Current one's got another 2 years to run -- but it strikes me it'll be easier to renew now.
