Florida.

I am going to be there Dec 16th - Jan 20th.

Having a look around at houses / businesses / cars / banks / accountants, etc

It will also be a holiday... I have sold my business (8 years solid graft)

First week - Clearwater and up towards Cedar Key - then across to have a look around Gainville and Ocola area.

Second & third ish week - Stay at Disney for Christmas (4 nights at the Beach Club Disney Resort - even booked my Xmas Dinner at the Grand Floridian)

Around I/DRIVE (meeting some friends and Family for New Year)... Traveling to Atlantic side to look around etc.

Fourth week - (3 nights) Fort Myers (staying at grand view on "Lovers Key") Same again looking around businesses / houses etc & chillin.

Fourth & Fifth week - 10 nights at the Peir House in Key West (this is my best place in the whole wide world) - Just relaxing / Jet skiing / Diving / relaxing / Hiring boats / Drinking Wine / Having Romantic meals / Flying to Dry Tortugas / relaxing / Eating Lobster... and the single most important thing - Enjoying giving my wife and son a great time.

(and hopefully come back to a SOLD house)

I can totally relate to the “unimaginable problems – I am not a religious person, but a very strong believer in fate.

If, for some reason I did not “get in - then there would have been a reason for it.

If and when I do – it will be because I have the drive and ambition to succeed.

This is something I have worked towards for a good few years now. I know I am no Mr. Rich Guy, but for my age, I feel like I have done well enough… I did work towards this USA goal from the start, and I feel now, this is the time, while I still have youth (very young 30 y/o) on my side.

Thanks for mentioning your law degree… I may bombard you with private messages now.. lol

Thank you very much for wishing us good luck.

Very best of luck to you. I'm moving (eventually) on K1. Which visa are you going in on? It's one of the most difficult places in the world to get to.

You're lucky there Joon. When I sold up in London it was 1%. Here in Spain it's anything from a min of 10% to 30% Not to mention capital gains on the sale of 35%
