I've got the US passport for my 3 month old kid.
There is a place for signature...One of my friend told that kid's fingerprint should be there in the passport. But he was not sure which finger? Left/Right hand? thumb?
Please help
Thanks in advance

INS standard procedure seems to be index finger, right hand for ID fingerprints.
Good luck in trying to get an inky fingerprint from a three month old into a passport! .... Thinking about it, try your bank - they probably have proper finger print pads (many keep them right there on the tellers' desks) and may let you use one for the passport?
