Finding Nemo crap

I normally like these kinds of films (in fact Shrek, Monsters Inc, Aladin and Ice Age are all in DVD collection (and we don't have kids)) but we watched finding nemo today and I thought it was awful. Is it just me or is it an awful film!

A film doesn't become the biggest grossing film of the year by being crap! I think you must of been having an "off" day to put it mildly.

Just watched it yesterday and i liked it, it was funny. Its not as good as toy story but it was good.

Also watched the Matrix revolutions today and 'ok' is my judgement. the big battle scene is goood and exciting but the end is a big dissapointment.

regards,

Duncan

All the people I watched it with didn't like it. Titanic was crap and it grossed a lot of money, the last two star wars films have been awful and grossed a lot of money. I tried to like Finding Nemo, but the opening scene has his Mum and all his brothers and sisters eaten - great start!

And when you think it's supposed to be for small children. I found it much too frightening and frenetic for them - so did my small son, who formed pretty much the same opinion as Patrick!

Millions of children would have to disagree with you there judging by ticket sales of the movie on the big screen alone.

I've seen most of these films a zillion times back when my babies were babies....

But one film that should have had a warning (if you ask me) is The Fox and the Hound!

The kids had wandered off to play and Todd and I sat and watched it because we were into it... but, OMG. We were both fighting back tears soon after because it got so sad!

Poor old dog named (oh I forget) falls off a train track over a ravine... well, they don't tell you if he died right away and we sat on the edge of our seats hoping he would survive!

Twits... the both of us ay?

Oh, and the little fox was named Todd! :p

Well, you can't please all of the people all of the time! News of crap films normally travels and the ticket sales take a dive after the first opening week, so I still say that most people must like it.

It will never rival Debbie Does Dallas in terms of popularity in my eyes.

My favourite line in Nemo is where Ellen De Generes' character is saying how she has never eaten fish. Rather ironic I thought.
