Finding a job - age discrimination.
I am halfway through the K1 process and hope
to be relocating to CT in early September. The main worry I have concerns finding suitable employment. I am probably one of the older members on these boards at the ripe old age of 52 and have over 30 years experience in the printing industry. If I had to look for a new job in the UK now it would be quite daunting, is it likely to be any different in the USA? Regards Mike |

Regards Mike With the job market as tight as it is, selecting employees is even more rigorous than ever so preparing yourself with a US resume that raises no flags about your age is the best bet. Of course, you shouldn't omit dates when you worked at previous employers... I wish you luck, NC Penguin |
