Finding a job

Hi there,
I am hoping to come to the US on a HI visa, I haven't yet got a job.
Can anyone recommend any websites or agencies that would help me find work.
I am an Occupational Therapist looking to work near Raleigh, North Carolina.

Once I have a job how long does the visa process take. I have heard it takes as long as 6 months, is it really that long?

thanks for any help:
