Finding a job..
Hi Gang,
Continuing in my series of random tangent questions I was wondering if there was anything stopping me from applying for jobs in the USA right away? I mean I could apply, attend interviews etc.. As long as I didn't start working for any company before I got the correct employment authorization documents it should be okay? Whats the general consensus? Regards Dominic |

You might be considered by your employer to have made a false statement on your employment application where it asks about work authorization, which is acceptable grounds for revokation of a job offer. Also, if your available start date in indefinite or too far into the future, that also is acceptable grounds for revokation of a job offer. CP |
