Where abouts in California?
It's a big place...

My favourite was Shivas in Mountain View , but that's not a lot of use to you if you are in San Diego

Go to Google Maps, zoom in/out to the area you are interested in, then search for /Indian Restaurant/. All the Indian restaurants will be marked on the map.

Select a city on Google Maps and you can search within the viewed area no matter where in the world you are. .... With the possible exception of if you are in North Korea.

I don't like Shivas at all. I can't find an Indian restaurant that we do like around here, we had a great one in Woodland Hills, LA, called Anarbarghs.
