Hi all

I'm currently living in the UK but have seen a business i would like to buy in America. Does anybody have any ideas where i can get some finance to make such a purchase, or who i can chat to for some guidance?

If you want to buy it with the intention of moving to America, I'm pretty sure that the money has to be your own (ie no loans) and you have had to have had it in a liquid state for a certain amount of time. Plus by all accounts the visa you would need is a little bit crap.

If you want money to just buy a business, try a bank. They do loans.

Yup, any old bank would be interested if you have a business plan and credit history.

Having a business won't allow you to move to the US on its own though.

I would advice to buy a major stake in a company here etc. I just hope you have enough capital to do so.
