the last thread I started 'WTF USCIS' resulted in a rescheduled appointment

turned up at the new memphis office - only to be told after an hour that sorry - your appontment is not today - didn't you get the letter?

my response was - nope and yes it definitely is today

thankfully the chap was very flexible and told us to get some brunch and comback at lunchtime when he would squeeze us in.

Anyway. 5 minute interview and he said my AOS is approved - you'll get the card in a couple of weeks!

Interview was painless, didn;t look at the photos we had or hardly any of our financial stuff - the fact my wife works for the State and we both appear to be upstanding members of the community probably helped things out
