Hello, people.
I have one final question before my fiance's interview on July 17 in London.
He has a prior marriage to a US resident (Filipina woman who was not a Citizen). After they married in the US (he was here on passport only), he returned to UK to await her arrival to start a life together. Well, she never went and they divorced instead.
He is afraid that at the Interview, they will suspect him of marrying me to obtain US citizenship, in light of his former marriage to a US resident. His intention was to bring his former wife to UK to live with him.
I told him they probably won't even bring it up, but his family now thinks this is going to create a problem and prevent him from getting his visa. I told him everyone is entitle to mistakes, and not to worry! Can somebody give me some insight so I can make him feel better? Thank you so much!

Thanks Alvena. I found your reply on Google, but it hasn't shown up on BritishExpats yet! I think we've got everything covered now and so excited!
