for the Adjustment of Status , they require that you include, among other things, the "fiancé petition approval notice". Shuffling madly through my papers, I can find nothing with that title.....
my fiance is here now and we got married (therefore my petition for fiance must have been approved)...
What can i do if i dont have the approval notice...i think i gave the original to the US Counsulate without making a copy (I KNOW I KNOW )
Please help ASAP ! Thanks !
i have a form entitled "Immigrant Visa Section US Counslate General Ho Cho Minh City" on which is a section called "required visa documents" and "NIV Petition (I-129F)" is checked. Would this help me?

I had a quick search of the INS website and this should help you:

Woah, the form to file for a replacement costs $120? Wow, I hope there's an easier way around that or you can find your second NOA.
take care, Jennie

You could only have done that if you are the USC and/or the USC gave you the original Notice of Approval from the INS Service Center. It is not typically required by the US Consulate unless you are using one that won't open a provisional file without it.
If you find it, you can attempt to file AOS without it and hope it is accepted. You will have to pay the cost and order a new one and bring it with you to the interview.
