Hi Brian. I went for my interview in March and the medical was 125 pounds. I had only
110 pounds in cash with me 'cos i had also not realised that the prices had
increased. That's when I found out that they do take visa cards. Also remember that
if u have to get shots, u'll probably have to pay for those as well.
I had to pay the visa fee of 32 pounds beforehand at a Barclays bank. I didn't have
any other fees to pay. I hope that helps.

Thanks Cubendri you say the visa fee is £32 on a form i have it is shown as $325 which does seem somewhat expensive so your figure sounds like they have a printing error
the necessary documentation the you have to process the fee of £32 is it sent to you or given to you at the Embassy
Best Wishes
Brian

I believe $325 is the fee for an immigrant visa. If you are doing K1 - remember K1 is
not an immigrant visa.

When I did K1 it was 28 not 32, but the form was sent with either pkt 3 or pkt 4, you
were supposed to pay it at Barclays (I think, other banks may charge), and take the
stamped counterfoil with you to the Embassy as proof of payment. I have seen someone
refer to that recently, so it seems they are still doing something like that although
the fee is increased.
