I totally understand. We moved here in the summer and it took me until around October to start to feel settled, and that was without the trauma you have gone through. One of my biggest fears in my mum dying without me being there for her - my condolences to you all.
It will get better I promise. My husband works away a lot too, and I was used to it in the UK, but it felt very lonely here to begin with.
The support on here has been great though, and has helped so much
