I posted this in the Teach USA thread, but I think it's relevant for those wondering how suburbia can look like heaven but feel like hell.

I ain't never livin' in Plano.

Here's a starting point Woodsey:

At 4,000 square feet, this store claims to be the largest in the SanFran Valley:

I'm getting hives looking at all the cuteness and hyperorganisation! :scared:

You're definitely going to need something for that embarrassing incontinence before they allow you into Once Upon A Page.

Have to say it did make me feel really homesick which I haven't done for months, How I wish I was back at the little playgroup in Scapegoat Hill but I am going to persevere for the sake of my boy cos he did seem to really like it but they'll be in for a shock if they ever come to mine, might manage a few ham sarnies
Hey you couldn't have lived far from where I grew up. Well for my teens at least. I lived in Slaithwaite - well the very top of Slaithwaite, at Cop Hill right next to the Rose and Crown pub. Not at all far from Scapegoat Hill if I remember correctly.

oh my god, small world, yeah its about a mile away, was born in Holmfirth but lived in Golcar most of my life, moved up the road to Scapegoat Hill for the last couple of years before we came here, loved it, the view was incredible..theres a picture in the photopost if you fancy a look, strangely enough I worked at the Rose and Crown Pub for a while and used to spend most Fridays in their drinking illegally Used to go in the Silent Women as well, hope you don't know any of the people I know

Holy crap - I think there is a really high chance we know eachother. I practically lived in the Silent Woman and I worked at the Rose also. Well, I worked as a waitress there when I was teenager for several of the landlords. Nick and Jeb mainly but a few others. That was a really long time ago though. I left Hudds about fifteen years ago. Did you go to Colne Valley?

Wow, what did you do to deserve that. Keith was the landlord when I was going there but he retired not long after I left.

My friend Michaela managed to get barred from the Shoulder of Mutton just down the road there in the mid 80's. That was quite an achievment as she was only 15 at the time and shouldn't really have been in there anyway

I do know a Ronnie - how old is he? The one I know was maybe a couple of years older than me and I'm 34. There are so many Thorntons in Slaithwaite I don't remember Lisa Taylor but I am really crap at remembering people from back then.
