I posted this in the Teach USA thread, but I think it's relevant for those wondering how suburbia can look like heaven but feel like hell.
I ain't never livin' in Plano.

At 4,000 square feet, this store claims to be the largest in the SanFran Valley:

I'm getting hives looking at all the cuteness and hyperorganisation! :scared:

You're definitely going to need something for that embarrassing incontinence before they allow you into Once Upon A Page.

Did I try and fit in? Did I heck, I am still 20lb overweight, my nails are still crap, my hair still needs cutting, my clothes are from Target and I can't tell where my pubes stop and my leg hair begins but I am as happpy as a pig in shit!!!

Have to say it did make me feel really homesick which I haven't done for months, How I wish I was back at the little playgroup in Scapegoat Hill but I am going to persevere for the sake of my boy cos he did seem to really like it but they'll be in for a shock if they ever come to mine, might manage a few ham sarnies

Holy crap - I think there is a really high chance we know eachother. I practically lived in the Silent Woman and I worked at the Rose also. Well, I worked as a waitress there when I was teenager for several of the landlords. Nick and Jeb mainly but a few others. That was a really long time ago though. I left Hudds about fifteen years ago. Did you go to Colne Valley?

My friend Michaela managed to get barred from the Shoulder of Mutton just down the road there in the mid 80's. That was quite an achievment as she was only 15 at the time and shouldn't really have been in there anyway
