Fear driver license being taken away
Due to the 9/11 issue, the DMV has been enforcing a strict policy in regards to
driver licenses for non-immigrants. This issue has my mom worried. Her driver license
is up for renewal. She has 2 things:
1)employment authorization card
2)social security card that says "valid for work only with ins authorization".
She fears that the local DMV would not grant her a renewal on her driver license.
Should she be worried?

She has proper documentation. She shouldn't need it, however. DMV heightened
requirements are mostly for issuing new licenses, including out-of-state exchanges.
