Favourite American foods

OK, We all know how great the stuff is back home that you can't buy here (proper baked beans, ginger wine, vimto, malt vinegar, decent tea bags, battenburg cake etc etc )
But . . . what American foods have you fallen in love with that you can't get back home?

Mine are:

Corn Dogs
Pecan pie
Mr. Gatti's Pizza
Shiner Bock beer
Authentic Mexican fajitas
Brisket
Egg Nog at Christmas
Sweet potato casserole

Have to watch the waistline !!!!

Jambalaya. Although I had tried it in the UK before I came.

Cajun food - yummy

Oh - if anyone is pinning for a decent curry I discovered a VERY nice curry house in DC - close to the Whitehouse. Bombay Club it is called, relatively reasonable, good atmosphere and EXCELLENT service and food.

It was soo good to have a good curry even if I had to fly 2600 miles to get it! I am so relieved - you CAN get good Indian food in the US!!

I'm going back this month for more..lol

That's why I posted it when it came to mind even though it was O/T.

I felt it my moral obligation to get the word out to all British Expats salivating for a decent curry
