Cherry and berry flavoured things I just don't understand.

The fixation with cinnamon, vanilla, citrus, etc mouthwash and toothpaste is just wrong as well.

Not keen on way cinnamon is added to things that don't need it over here, I love apple pie, but not with cinnamon, so make it myself and don't eat it out, I hate the new Dr pepper with vanilla and cherry, soooooo sweet
Whalers vanilla rum is good with vanilla coke also!!
I have to admit to liking the cinnamon rolls here, but one is enough!!!
Thinking about it, they do add these flavors in a lot of things don't they.........guess they must sell or they wouldn't do it

It's nasty. In the '70s and '80s the rage was to have a wedge of lime with Diet Pepsi to cut the saccharin or aspartame aftertaste -- not unlike lime with tequila shots. This is a blast from a past that really wasn't great to begin with.

Cherry-flavoured fountain drinks come from the days of soda counters at small drugstores/chemists. They were more properly known as cherry phosphates with a load of extra phosphoric acid and carbonated water added for a big kick in the fizzy department. Without that kick, the Cherry Coke in a can is like cough syrup flavoured. Maybe they should take a tip from Guinness and drop in one of those little fizzy canisters? Nah, you can buy Cherry Coke at any age and probably the little tykes would find some devious use for the fizzy widgets.

I was hooked on Cinnamon before I came to the US - never thought of it as America-centric. I can't remember what got me hooked (too long ago) but I remember buying some cinnamon tea from Whittards once.

You can thank the German and Eastern European immigrants for bringing over their awesome repertoire of baked goodies loaded with spices, sugar, honey, fruit....

German-descended Americans are more numerous than English-descended Americans. Honestly.

p.s lime pepsi is not bad at all
If you have a sweet enough tooth for it, fizzy limeade or fizzy cherry limeade from Sonic are better, IMHO.

Pan dulce (sweet bread) -- but it's actually less sweet than traditional American pastries. Still good!

Boy those Jerries went wherever they bloody well pleased whether or not they were invited!

Based on the posts so far, I guess Cinnabon should be renamed Sinabon!
