Out of the many, many American men I have come into contact with in my nearly 2 years in the states I have seen everything from chinstrap beards to 50 year olds with goatee's, to mexican style long 'tache's to something that resembles Gordan the Gopher having curled up and died on a top lip.
Also is it just me or do 99% of the Police Force and Fire Brigade personnel all have them? Is it in the rules when they join?

No-one repeat, NO-ONE, with the exception of Tom Selleck ever looks better with a moustache.

Disagree? Think of Dr. Phil, and the entire male population of Texas.

Disgusting!

Ban them I say, ban them!!!
Can't say I've noticed many moustaches or facial hair in general on men in the US. The only American I know with facial hair is my BIL and he's originally from PA.

It must be the cold PA winters that encourage the men to grow facial hair. Maybe their furry all over!
