That is awesome! So you don't have to be subscribed to the FOX Soccer Channel? It's on regular FOX?

Re: FA Cup Final
so maybe the number of people watching Wigan will reach more than triple figures

Re: FA Cup Final
cruel, very cruel.

Re: FA Cup Final
Not wrong though :D
It'll be a walkover. Championship side against second. |

Saw the first ad for the Prem games on NBC over the weekend too. Well actually heard it - 'Vindaloo' was playing which got my attention

That's what they said about Sunderland in 1973, Southampton in 1976, Coventry in 1987 and Wimbledon in 1988.

Re: FA Cup Final
I really hope they don't have Gus Johnson as the commentator though. His commentary (with that numpty Ian Wright) on the Man U / Chelsea game on Sunday was downright awful.

A perfectly respectable position, is seventh

I just grasped the significance. Wimbledon were a power-house back in '88, they beat a team only a hair breadth better.

Yeah. It wasn't anywhere near the same kind of thing as if they'd been a D2 team (the 1988 D2, as it was).

It shows how hard it is to shake off a reputation. People still thought of the Dons as if they were still in the Isthmian League.
Not that I liked that they won the FA Cup in '88, of course ... |

Right, even though they were a top flight side for 20 years (give or take).

Living in London at the time, I was with the Wimbledon fans (in reality i was 50/50 in their end), three league game tokens got you a final ticket.

Talking of Liverpool. Saw this on the internet:
"Maggie Thatcher dies and now Alex Ferguson retires. Police are searching for a Liverpool fan with a lamp and one wish left" |

They were cheering quite loudly for supposedly only a few people. |

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1...t-seem-to-care As for Ian Wright, I've actually been very impressed by him. He has given some useful insight. |

Re: FA Cup Final
Whilst I along with everybody else would like to see Villa go down, looks like it will be Wigan.
Sunday was not good for them. |
Re: FA Cup Final
Wrighty sucked on Saturday!
After the ball clearly struck a player's leg and went out for a corner - even in the replay, he insisted that it never touched him - the darn thing made a 90 degree turn when it hit him!!! Also, why does he insist that the best thing to do for EVERY free kick outside the box that "he needs to belt it into the wall and hope for a rebound"?????? Idiot. |
