With the current war spending trend we may not be able to. If this country can
t 'afford' to put 38 billion towards SCHIP then we are screwed.

Plus we should be shipping out our old technology over there as we replace new technology to help those nations out. Also per capita, we are far worse than if you look at per population :)

That would be good if we could start developing new technology to begin with. We are behind in developing alternative fuel resources it's a shame.
