Expats in New York, I'll buy the drinks
 

My wife is over on 17th Oct. with our 11 year old daughter to check out places to live, schools, etc. We also have a 15 yr daughter too bit she's not able to come over on this trip.

We're looking at New Jersey, Connecticut, Westchester and maybe Brooklyn.

My dearest wants a house and there's not many of them in the city but I want us to consider the city life too.

We would love to meet and expats in NYC or any of these areas for a chat over a beer/coffee so we can get your opinions.

There is a British expat meetup group at Meetup.com. They have regular get togethers in NYC,
