Exchange Rate Dilemma
Hi All,
I will be moving to the USA via a K1 visa later this summer and have been sorting things prior to my move. I have sold my house and all my investment (low cost index) funds so as to streamline things from a US tax perspective. The extended Brexit uncertainty makes it hard to predict when or if the £ will improve against the $ and so I am looking at ways to invest in the market in £ which are relatively easy to manage from a US IRS perspective. I am considering going down the Vanguard ETF route and wondered if others have done this and which firm they use - Am I searching for the Holy Grail ? |

It makes no sense to use a third party if the third party takes takes a cut. If you are with a bank though you can also go through the bank and generally get a number of free trades. |
