Logan is not the best, and the immigration were something else (they threw me in a holding room overnight because they thought I might be an illegal Irish immigrant!). Despite this pleasaant experience, Logan is nowhere near as filthy and miserable as Heathrow in my books.

The US really isn't a bad place to live at all.

Of course, you need a dental plan. But then, realistically you need a plan in the UK too. Waiting for treatment on an NHS dentist is a nightmare!
British teeth - possibly the biggest disgrace to the UK after Heathrow!
Can I just say the women here have gorgeous smiles. Another plus for the US
American dental care is miles ahead. Look around you. Look at how amazing everyone's teeth are!
Of course, you need a dental plan. But then, realistically you need a plan in the UK too. Waiting for treatment on an NHS dentist is a nightmare!

I definitely agree about the teeth in Great Britain. I see it every time I'm home. To be honest, sometimes it makes me cringe. And, I'm no teeth snob, but come on

Similarly with medical - it's not miles ahead at all - may be faster if you have insurance - but ditto Bupa, etc in the UK.
The poster said the dental/healthcare was superior - not so.

Great tasting coffee (no instant for me, thank you very much)
Great icecream (love that Dairy Queen)
The variety of restaurants is wonderful (even me being a vegetarian)
clean streets
people's pride in what their houses and gardens look like (where I live anyway)
Ease of driving (due to the highway systems, and the automatic cars)
Friendly people
I've listed a few off of the top of my head, but of course, everything is relative. What is true for me, will not be true for others, depending on where in the country you are, and what type of people you associate with
