Is the ESTA valid for multiple trips?

Hi, Can anyone help me on this please?

My fiancee has teh ESTA approved until the end of 2012 but the details entered are for our trip in Jan 2011. Do I need to update this to the new trip or is it just a blanket cover for repeat visits?

ESTA is good for 2 years - you don't need to reapply unless some material circumstance has changed such that you would have to answer the questions differently. The trip details don't matter.
