Default Episode III : Revenge of The Sith

I will be among the first to see the film at 12:00am Thursday, May 19th as I have my ticket in hand. Yeah, I know- who cares. But early reviews seem to be excellent, looks like Lucas finally got the message. This time the entire film is supposed be just like the last 20 minutes of Attack of the Clones- nothing but non-stop action. Thats good enough for me, besides I wouldn't miss the anti-Bush sentiments that happen during the climatic battle between Obi-Wan and Anakin. According to reviews Anakin says something to the effect of "if your not with me, your against me" to which Obi-Wan replies "Only a Sith deals in absolutes".

Anyway, Rotten Tomatoes has it at 92% at the moment. Anyone planning to see the this final installment of George Lucas' epic saga?

I love the original 3, but the last two have been absolute wank. I may see it but will probably wait until it's on TV.

Does Jar-Jar Binks get killed off very early in it? Someone please say yes! LOL

I'm sure we'll see it, but with our babysitter (mother-in-law) tending to sick father-in-law, we might have to see it separately.

yup the last two were not outstanding but this film is supposed to make it all worthwhile and the other two were just setting up this last final one that is supposed to be fantastic.

My wife is currently thinking of which illness she is going to have that day so that she can get the day off work. Flu is the best excuse she's came up with so far

That's just it, critics are saying that this one is much more like the original trilogy than the first two were.

Jar Jar only has a very brief appearance- even briefer than Episode II.

I personally can't wait to watch Yoda take on the Emperor, the battle everyone has been waiting for since Return of the Jedi back in 1983. They just didn't have the technology to do a Yoda fight scene back then, now they have it in spades.

I'll be going - first mid evening showing as soon as I can get off work. Loved all the movies.

Oh good grief, not more "frog in a food blender antics" from Yoda! He limps around on his cane most of the time but, as that fight against Count Duckula proved, he's totally faking it. I bet he's got one of those disabled stickers and parks his spaceship in handicapped spaces as well, the git.

Having said that, I've got my ticket for the 00:01 showing next Thursday morning!
