Did you sign up to UK Nova or couchtracker? The latter worked, the former says the site is "not public" (is not accepting new users).

I get a LOT of music-related video from UK/Eire because I have friends who know I live for the stuff (all sorts of programmes like Soccer AM, TOTP, Wossy, you name it) my U/L speed sucks wind, but I can do it.

Bob -- I take it that such a site "advertises" that you have a bit torrent available -- that is, it doesn't store what you upload, therefore your machine (and bandwidth) must be available for others to stream it down.

Mind I don't get every episode.... I have a limited supply of technogeek male friends willing to go to the immense bother of capturing / converting and uploading the shows to me. Plus I tend to only get the bits that I'd be interested in getting, not the entire show, as that would be ouchy!

At some point I might get a video capture card (used to have one) and start capturing from videotape, but I don't have a PAL player I'd guess you'd just need a PAL player to capture to computer -- it wouldn't also have to convert to NTSC.

All my geek friends Over There are asleep at the mo so can't ask but will do so when I get a chance.

I have Roxio software for my DVD burner. I just save the EE from Nova. Drag and click into the Roxio icon and it starts up a prog called DVD builder. It's dead easy, and if I can do it, anyone can.

Get TMPGEnc Xpress from www.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/te3xp.html

You will also need software to burn DVD's i.e. Nero.

Thanks for the information! After showing my husband Sibsie's response last night he informed me that he has the Nero software, just hasn't got around to installing it. "Why is that dear?" I asked. "Well I just don't feel like it." Arrrrrrrrgggggggggghhhhhhhh!!!!

He might get around to it eventually....more nagging required I think.

the file says that you are seeding/leeching via the tracker, which is how other people get the file, the tracker says who has what, and needs what etc, to spread the file around..
