Check this out http://www.elephantcastle.com/index.cfm?pg=49,8,4#ecusa It'll tell you where the elephant and castle is, there are two in Chicago. The main one is just off the magnificient mile, next to the Radisson Hotel. They do a good fish and chips and even try their hand at doing a full english brekkie in the mornings (obvioulsy bacon and beans are not the same) I really enjoyed myself in there when I was in Chicago and wish one would open up in my home town. Could do with a decent pub to go to! |

The Duke of Perth on North Clark in Wrigleyville is an excellent Scottish pub. They have McEwan's on tap as well as a number of other English and Scottish ales.

Having lived in Chicago, I ask, why? Why look for a good diner in London?
Chicago has some of the best bars and taverns in the US. Try any street corner. Try Shuba's Tavern. But don't try some fake ass stuff like Elephant.... |
