Chutney ferret?

I used the expression "it's a piece of piss" at work not so long ago to quizzical looks, and now they all seem to enjoy using it.

The idea is to put the meaning to the words otherwise people are going to be none the wiser. I know what your talking about but they don't. Please put explanation as well.

stumped------ beaten or at a loss as to what to do.

'Whingeing' - whining
'I'm frez' - Northamptonshire for 'I'm cold'
'Kick the bucket' - to die
'Pop his clogs' - to die
'Winkie' - kiddie term for girl's genitalia in England, but means boy's genitalia in USA.
'Solder' - the stuff you melt with a soldering iron - apparently is called 'sodder' in the USA, so hubby found out yesterday.
'Pamp your hooter' - As 'hooter' means 'breasts' in the USA, this one causes great mirth, then they say 'Oh, you mean Honk your Horn', which in turn causes us Brits great mirth...

Paint.
