I would like to second the recommendation for Williams. I've purchased directly from them at the Lumberton Farmers Market (in NC, near the SC border). I met both Mr. and Mrs. Williams and I can confirm they are British.

At their "store"/stand in the Farmers Market, they also sell a selection of British foods including Paxo and other non-perishible foods.

Definitely worth a visit if you're passing through the area.

Cheers for that! We had found that website before we left the UK and bookmarked it 'just in case'! I haven't order from them as the shipping page states 'If you are ordering individual items from this page, you need to order at least 10 (TEN) items or 10 pounds in total.' The market is about 3.5 hours from us...is there anything else of interest near Lumberton, so we can make it a weekend adventure?

Look at the website! I'm sure they can ship to anywhere in the US provided you make a minimum order. Do you have any (British) friends/neighbors who might want to club together to make an order?

there is a place in Manistee called "Happy Chappy's" which has a cracking assortment of the following

cadbury's
sausage rolls
pies
black pud
bacon
indian food / spices
Beverages from all over Europe. (alas no stella)


and it's run by Robbie a mate of mine from Newcastle............so there ya go.
