Almost every time I visit Italy, I get that, at least once. Though it seems more bizarre that on one occasion when I was visiting the Netherlands someone approached and asked me something in Dutch.

I am done complaining that Americans think I am Irish (until tomorrow at least).

Went to the outdoor pool today with the young Kim Jong Il, and a guy from Nottingham on vacation, asked me if I was Irish.

If my own countrymen think I am a foreigner, I can not complain when Americans do not spot I am British.
