Not here, but on the forum I linked to earlier there are. Most of them are just hoping things will change before the kids reach 21.... not much of a plan there.

You know what it's like there are nice parts and not so nice parts in the UK I know this goes for US too. Am I looking at a respectable area for me and my family or should I be looking elsewhere?? Thanks.

On the plus, though it's cold, it ain't nearly as arse numbing as maine, and schools generally aren't shite, and the uni's are very good...well maine if great if you want to study nursing.

if you have kids and planning on moving to the usa on an e2, you should think again. i came to america on an e2 when i was 15. i went to college and received a lot of pressure from my parents to get married as soon as possible or major in something i didnt want to do (ie nursing). anyway, the pressure to get the greencard led me into very bad situations, and in the end i ended up living in the us illegally, marrying someone i wasnt really in love with, ect. i really resented my parents for it. when someone feels they have to get married to stay living in a country, it is not good for the psyche. especially if they have to get married before 21.
