You sound excited and rightly so...you'll always remember your first visit to NYC. Saying that T.O. is a great city.

Keep an eye on the weather forecast. It's usually hot, dry and very humid this time of year but recently it's been wet and a little on the cool side.

I was going to go to NYC this week but it's either wet or in the mid-80s and humid. It's definitely worth checking the weather forecast as it's going to be a bit of a muggy Summer week in NY

Hi:

Although there are some differences in wiring, Canada and US are compatible. In fact, the power grids are intertwined.

Took a trip to Canada last year and all the appliances were just fine.

If you are staying in a hotel, check with them. Most hotels do provide hairdryers. It would save you having to take your one.

Ah Joto if only life were that simple, I need my GHD's and phone charger. For us girls those hotel air dryers are a lot of work!

Thanks for the thought though.

I always take my own hairdryer...9 times out of 10 I find the hotel hairdryers aren't powerful enough.
