I prefer the Private Eye's take on the British election.

Nice
My mother sends me a few copies now and again, shame can't get it here, it's a great laugh...

Anyway, : http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politi...ge/4513703.stm
The live Desktop Score Card is cool, get the results as they come in on the pop-up, and stick in a post code to find out the details of that area when they come in...

Did anyone else see the Daily Show last night? Jon Stewart was comparing the Town Hall conferences they had over here to Question Time. Whilst the yanks praise Bush and tell him they love him, the Brits are telling Tony he's a liar and should quit!! ******* hilarious!!

I saw the Daily Show, very funny comparison. Its not Question Time without a good dose of booing and heckling. At least Brits tell it like it is. No point voting a candidate in if you can't criticise them openly. Never quite got the town hall thing here though.

BBC America are now saying that they will be broadcasting the results live tonight from 10:55 eastern time.

Funny that...would be good if they did have an open question time here where they have to answer for themselves...make them sweat a bit at least

Is anyone else watching C-Span2? I have missed fat boy John Prescott - he does make me laugh! "The press always call me grumpy!!"

Oddly enough yes I did - purely by accident. Here in this part of Northern New Jersey we get Comcast cable TV. I was cheesed off to see that BBC America really has got the Kumars with Jennifer Saunders on (yet again) and was flicking through the TV guide. I decided to catch a bit of the English Premier League Soccer instead on channel 63 (a channel called MSG+) and lo and behold it's the BBC Election Night Simulcast and the screen is satying C-SPAN 2.

I'm so excited to see my fave Jeremy Paxman chatting with Ian Hislop...yahoo!

Yes, Prescott was miserable, David Dimbleby tried hard to get a smile out of him....

It's so refreshing to see all the workers in the town halls counting all the ballots manually and to see the black voting boxes arriving....no chads in the UK of course!
