Default Earthquake in San Jose

Did anyone feel it?
Hubbie just phoned from the city to see if i felt it, but felt nothing here, I guess as he is 5 floors up he noticed it more

Hope everyone is ok

It was pretty minor - only a 4.1 - bit of window rattling and lights swaying. We're still waiting for the "Big One" :-)

Didn't feel a thing I was in the Bay area this morning but I think I don't feel any of them when I'm driving.

I live in downtown San Jose on the top floor (5th floor) of a low rise and felt them both. This mornings quake shook the building pretty well but pretty minor compared to many other quakes in the bay area.

We normally feel any of the tremors very slightly over the altamont, but I have been at home all day and not felt a thing!!


The last biggy last year or was it 08 anyways I nearly took of the bed

colleagues and I felt it on the ground floor of an office in Cupertino. Compared with quakes in places in Tokyo and Indonesia, this one was over quickly but quite violent: the building seemed to groan. We actually went out of the building for a minute or so...

Another 3.7 earthquake hit near the same place on the Calavares fault a few minutes ago.
