EAD Vs H1

Hello Guys,

I have my 6 years of H1 expiring by apr 2005.
I 'll be losing my current job by dec31, 2003.
I filed I-485 by apr, 2003. So I can switch employer.
The problem is with my EAD since I filed for it only on sep17, 2003 (with vermont center) and I'm yet to get it.

Can I go to the BCIS and get an interim EAD( by dec 18, 2003 91st day) or should I go ahead and sponsor for a new H1 with the new employer?.

In case of going for H1 with a another employer, will my green card processing be affected?

I'm yet to get my I485 receipt though I got the receipt number through the cleared check from lawyer ( which I used to file the EAD application instead of the I485 receipt notice) and BCIS is yet to respond me for the reason. I 'm worried if this would delay my EAD or create someother problem with my EAD.
PLease advice.

regards,
rbalsi
