DV, my ranking in Europe

Hi, I've won the lotto for green card, my ranking number is EU00014919, I was wondering if it is considered high, or I have a chance. I'm applying through the US consulate in Naples, Italy. Can anyone predict the approximate time for my interview?
Thank you so much.

I can't predict the time for your interview, but I can tell you that in the past
years, everybody who won and still wanted the Green Card did get it (or at least, the
ranking number wasn't a problem). I believe there was one year where the full number
of 50,000 was reached, so a few people may have lost out that way, but it was a VERY
small number.

Actually, this is not entirely true. Historical visa bulletin information is
available on the web and for the past 5 years Europe didn't become current in 2 (2000
and 1997 I believe).

In one year the cut-off number reached only 21,000 or so after more than 40,000
notifications for Europe. This would deny roughly 40% of the notified people an
interview.

But a case number of 14,000 virtually guarantees an interview before the beginning of
the summer based on historic data. A case number of 27,000 on the other hand would
mean a probability for an interview between 60% and 70%.

One argument that I've heard is that the agency processing the DV applications has
been significantly restructured around 2000 and therefore they can extrapolate the
notification vs interview ratio better now and the chance that all continents will be
CURRENT is higher, but I wouldn't bet money on that.

Did you apply through an organization or directly to the dv program??

What has happened with you since? Did you get your interview?
