Jerseygirl and Sophia_S , you girls are handy with a needle. I can only sew buttons on a shirt. That's as far as my sewing goes.

Got my down comforter at Ikea. It's a duck down one with cotton, cost us about $100 for queen size. They sell some cheaper ones, but they are not good, like someone here has pointed out. But they do have some decent ones with higher price. Cotton cover is fine with me, but they also sell satin cover, much more luxurious and comfy. Of course, the price is almost double than the cotton one.

I'm not going back to England for a while so I need to buy a duvet that uses covers here. I am sick of washing my comforter.
When we first came to USA, we bought Duvets from "Company Store". Very good products, not cheap. Their covers, were horrible, really gross. We have since bought an excellent Top quality Duvet from Macy's Mt Fuji King Size, cost about $399, though think they came down in price. Covers, we like "Royal Sateen", very nice, but little pricey. We know people who just use Duvet, with no cover, not for me.
