Re: The Duggars Are At It Again
Let them experience American TV for a few months I say...
(Disclaimer: I am *not* saying that there are no decent programmes in the US, or that the BBC is perfect - far from it - but overall, the quality of BBC programmes is way better. And since the commercial channels in the UK have to compete with the BBC, even they are generally not quite as awful as some of the stuff on offer here.)
The other day I found myself watch something called "The Real Housewives of Atlanta". 2 minutes was enough for me.......... but WTF

And yet there are so many Brits who complain about the licence fee. "Let the market decide" they cry.

Well Ill tell you something. We subscribe to the PBS stations in seattle and detroit which broadcast all the brit comedies. Expensive to be a member, but we think for the amount of TV we watch, it is well worth it. Great for a good laugh.....

I disagree. I think they are harming their kids - what they are doing by having their whole lives on TV all the time is sheer exploitation.
I never watch the programme, but I imagine they are also indoctrinating them with all kinds of pseudo-religious, non-scientific nonsense.

That's the good news. The bad news Leslie, is that you are going to have to have 20 kids to cancel out the negative effect of her kids. hehehe
Even my gyno made comments about stupid people seem to be having all the kids, while those with more intelligence are opting for far fewer kids or not having them at all...we are soon to be outnumbered.

Re: The Duggars Are At It Again
Couldn't they have adopted some of the thousands of children in care since they love kids so much, can afford them and are religious and therefore supposed to be caring and giving. Of course no social services department would have let them have that many.
