Hi All

I can't find any recent postings about this, and as these things change so quickly..... does anyone have experience of dual SIM mobile phones? I thought it would be an easy solution whilst we are regularly travelling between UK and US, but i have been told by a phone shop in the UK that it is practically impossible to buy one (he said neither the police nor the mobile companies like dual sim mobiles). Is this the same in the US, or are they widely available?

My daughter inherited a dual sim phone - a samsung which was bought off ebay by a techy friend. It's a funny size and we haven't managed to buy a cover for it. They ar e very common in India, so if you have any contacts there, maybe
someone could get one for you?



I wouldn't bother though......just get a $10 international service from T-mobile and install skype on your mobile.

Samsung and Nokia have them. You'll have to buy direct, probably not from the UK/US store and double check that they'll work where you want them to though.

You can always get a Skype phone number in both countries and have it ring on your smartphone. Just switch sims in each country for data purposes.

Try out a company called BLU based in Miami with phones available through Amazon. Many are Dual Sims.
