Default Driving License and I-94

I have a question about the 12 months in Massachusetts - I read somewhere that the 12 months begins again every time you re-enter the US and get an I-94. I have an H1-B Visa. Does anyone know if that is true?

Where did you read this? Quote a source, otherwise it's just hearsay.

I have an H1-B Visa.
In Massachusetts, you can drive for up to 12 months on your UK license *IF* you are not resident. You have an H-1B visa... therefore, you are likely considered resident, therefore you must have an MA license. Therefore, whether or not you get an new I-94 each time you re-enter the US... doesn't really matter!

You could also read the other thread here that describes what happens if you push your luck.
